The first time I walked in to a Once Upon a Child store in Dallas, I was freaking out! There was so much to choose from. Toys, clothes, books, movies, nursery furniture, exersaucers, jumperoos...etc. My kids were 13, 11 and newborn at the time. I was thrilled to find trendy brand-name clothes for my older girls (that they actually liked) and a bassinet and bumbo for the baby. We have recently moved to Oklahoma City and were thrilled that there is a new Once Upon A Child here!! YAY!! I have been a customer at Once Upon A Child stores for years now and am very pleased with the friendly customer service, kid play area and great deals.

I am a first time mom with a gorgeous 6 month old boy, Jackson. I LOVE Once Upon a Child. I discovered this store when I was pregnant and have been a faithful customer ever since. Why pay the outrageous prices at specialty children's stores for clothes your child will only wear for a VERY short period of time? My husband and I made the decision that I would stay home with our children, and although we both believe that me being home is what's best for our children, it has been a big financial sacrifice. Having a store like Once Upon a Child eases that financial burden significantly. I recently was able to purchase a Fisher Price Rainforest Jumperoo at our local Once Upon A Child for HALF of what I saw it for at another children's store. He loves it, and I feel good about the money I spent on it. I also love that my little boy is getting use out of something someone else can't use anymore. Reduce, Re-use, Recycle!

I was visiting my son and daughter-in-law in CT and they are expecting their first child in December. Today, we visited Once Upon A Child for the first time and I was totally impressed and amazed! The store was well-organized, the selection of clothing and products was wonderful, the quality was high and the the prices were low. I will visit the Once Upon A Child store in my home state as well as tell my daughter in Virginia about it so that she can check out a store near her when shopping for her little two year old. I visited my local Once Upon A Child store yesterday and was shocked.......it was amazing! The ladies that work there are very friendly and helpful, the store is so well organized and I had such a blast. I started shopping at Once Upon A Child when it first opened. Not only for my kids, but my neices and nephews too. When we found out that we were having a grandson, Once Upon A Child was the first place I went! I was looking for 'cowboy' themed bedding, and found the exact one that I wanted, and had found in a catalog. The catalog's price was $498.00 for the cribskirt, bumpers, sheet and comforter. Once Upon A Child  had that, plus extra sheets, matching rug, lamp, switch cover, nightlight, art for the walls, and diaper stacker for $140.00!! We had gone back many times!

Once Upon a Child is my favorite place to shop for my girls. Where else can I find fabulous name brand clothing like gymboree, gap, ralph lauren, stride rite ect., for a fraction of the cost? The last time I was in there I bought 6 outfits 4 of which were gymboree for $50.00!! I was so excited with how much money I saved. I found Once Upon A Child after I had my third child. There is an 11 year age difference between my middle son and my baby so I had gotten rid of everything baby a long time ago. I went to all the fancy baby stores to buy all of his first clothes and outfits and after spending so much on so little as he grew I shopped at your store. I am so glad that I found Once Upon A Child. I have gotten toys and clothes and I haven't had a problem with any of it. My husband is not a thrift shopper, but when I showed him what our money buys here, he has become a bargain hunter with me. Now I get all the essentials here and go to the fancy store for that one special outfit. It's so nice to know that I can walk in and walk out with a ton of stuff for a fraction of the cost. My son has started eating solids now and I don't stress about him making a mess occasionaly. I check my store atleast once a month and I am always getting compliments.

First for my children as babies and then for the children I watched, then for grandchildren and now I will be adding shopping for foster children. This is a real down to earth shopping experience. My daughter born in March of 2007 and I had never heard of such a store until she was 5 months old. I'm so glad I learned of what great prices and items y'all sell. I buy almost 90% of my daughters clothing from your store along with selling some of my items back when my daughter grows out of it. It is such a better idea then stowing them away for when? Us busy moms will never look at them again until out children are teenagers and then we will ask our selves why did we keep these. I go to the Once Upon a Child in Oceanside. I am pregnant with my first child and due in September. I'm a first time mom with very little extra cash. After going to several retail stores and looking at the prices of baby clothing I was actually dreading baby shopping. My sister, who has two kids, told me about Once Upon A Child. I couldn't believe it. I found onesies and pants for $1.50! Booties and hats for $.50! And everything I got was in great condition with no stains and all name brands. Now that I've been shopping there it's hard for me to even want to go to the regular retail stores and spend $10-$20 on an outfit. I guess I got a little spoiled at Once Upon a Child.

I have three daughters ages 5,4, and 3 and they love clothes as much as I do. I found your store in St. Peters when I was trying to get rid of some baby gear that we did not need anymore and I fell in love instantly. Every time I go there, I find brand new, never worn shoes for my girls from Gymboree, Target, & Dillards. I also find a ton of new clothes from Target with the tags still on for a fraction of the price. My favorite find has been a pair of white Polo tennis shoes with the horses all over them, my youngest loves those shoes. I had no clue what all I would need for my baby and they helped me all the way. The owners were even the first vistors to see my baby after she was born. I get her gymboree and gap clothes there all the time! I spent 200 dollars there one time it was the best 200 I ever spent I got her so much stuff! She always looks like a million bucks! At 9 months old she is wearing 18 and 24 month clothing. My husband just got transferred to California with the military and our budget is tight. At first I wasn't too sure about putting used clothing on my daughter, but, after going into an Once Upon A Child with a friend of mine I noticed that the clothes were not typical "thrift store" clothing. Since my daughter was a preemie and born early, I was not prepared at all. Strapped for cash, time, and needless to say, energy, I found OUAC. The staff there were wonderful and showed me a great selection of preemie clothes, furniture, and neccessities for my baby that I couldn't beat anywhere else! I found OUAC back when my 10 yr old was little, he has since outgrown their sizes, but I have a 3 yr old that I shop for ALL the time! I actually found his Easter outfit there just a couple of weeks ago, and paid VERY little for it, and it is precious! I love OUAC! The one in Amarillo is great, it is stocked up on everything! I moved to Wyoming and continue to drive once a year back to Roseville to visit my kids but also to go shopping at Once Upon A Child. They are always so friendly and have the best buys. Now I have moved to Montana, and I am heading back to do more shopping in Roseville. Thanks to Once Upon a Child. The best place to shop.

I first found out about your stores while on vacation at Myrtle Beach, SC. My husband had stopped to get a game for his psp (MEN!) While I was waiting I saw the Once Upon A Child sign. I saw so much neat stuff there just on the sidewalk I HAD to go in. I couldn't believe all the items that were there in the store!! I bought a quite a few outfits there. They even had a rack for items they only wanted $1 for needless to say I went crazy and bought clothes for both of my girls, Contessa 6 years and Chantelle 3years. When we go back to Myrtle Beachin a few months I WILL be going back to the OUAC in Surfside Beach, SC. I love you Once Upon A Child!!!

I have a four, three, and two year old. The oldest is in a size 6-7 right now, so everything that has been past down to us from family, is way to small. So, I go to the Wilmington store a lot to catch the best deals. Once she is done, I just save them for her little sister. Everyone says that I can just go to Walmart and Target to get her clothes, but when they have to last throught two kids, they have to be good clothes. But when the good clothes are $30, $40, even $50 for one outfit, we can't do it. That is why I am so glad that there is a store that I can go get a whole season worth of clothes for $50.00 and that even includes shoes! Thanks Once Upon a Child!!!

My Once Upon a Child is now 13. I discovered your store in North Dakota. I was not aware that such was a franchise. I had suggested to my pregnant niece to search thrift stores for finds (which she instantly balked at the idea). I was racking my brain to try and think of the store I fell in love with in North Dakota. I was at my doctors office for a nasty cold, a young lady had overheard my conversation about shopping for infants, and that so much of the stuff out there is not needed (I came to this conclusion after going to two major baby stores and using the registry). The young lady chimed in that she got all her babies needs at Once Upon a Child. Bingo! My memory was now jogged. When she told me a store was nearby I got excited. Now, I can't wait to share with my niece this information. She'll definetly change her mind about used products, especially since OUAC only stocks "gently used items." I'm so glad to know that you have stores in Illinois.

Being a single mother of 4 boys ages 2-10, i have to be wise as to where i spend my money! thanks to your stores, my kids are dressed to impress--without breaking the bank! my 2 older sons love to dress in Abercrombie and Hollister and we always find great bargains on these brands!! my younger 2 sons are always dressed in designer labels such as Catimini, Oilily and Cakewalk. I find the cutest outfits that are in perfect condition! I will always shop at Once Upon a Child forever! There are other resale shops that try to do what you do but it just isn't the same, you have to pair quality with a great price!!! thank you!

i love to shop at ouac. Me and my sisters will go once a month to get our kids great clothes and we dont spend a fortune like we would if we were going some other place. We have bought our kids everything that they need for summer and didnt spend but about $100 bucks a piece. WOW!!!

I have always been a HUGE "shopper"- never have turned down a good deal! As soon as I found out I was having a baby in 2006, I rushed to Baby Gap to buy his homecoming outfit 85.00 later, I returned with the perfect outift! I didn't stop there... I was on a first name basis with the ladies at the Childrens Place and Gymboree! By the time Myles was born, he had clothes for a year... with room to only wear once! He was so tiny though, and being a first time mom... I had only bought "outfits" no sleepers, no jamies, no carters "rolly pants and shirts"... etc. On my way to the mall, I saw OUAC and just stopped in. OMG! I was HOOKED! I seriously spent like 53.00 my first time there and I got him a lot of sleepers! Even if you have the money to go shop at the regular stores... why would you?! OUAC sells the same stuff... and at a fraction of the price, so you can get more!!!!!!!!!! : )Here is myles in one of his carters shirts... they were so comfy and for 1.50 each!? Compared to 4.00 each (on sale) at the carters store??!!

Every year we sponser a child through an Adopt an Angel program. This is a particular program that encourages you to spend quite a bit as the child is from an extremely impoverished family. This year our child's mother had specifically requested clothing. I spent an hour at OUAC and for only $30 dollars bought her many nice outfits which were much better quality than what we'd have gotten at a discount store. I also was able to find fashionable choices and fun colors and patterns. It was a wonderfully effecient way to buy her what she needed, and it left us money in our budget to buy her a brand new coat, shoes, underwear, and socks, along with toys and a brand new bike. That's a Christmas all children should have!

I heard from a friend about the store and decided to try it out. I spent $314.00 and when I compared the prices i saved about $650.00. I am so impressed with the quality of everything they have there too. I will go back there soon.

Everytime I visit Once Upon a Child I find lots of namebrand stuff and the best bargains for the amount of money that I invest, the quality is fabulous, being that I'm a young mother it helps out real well. I love the fact that there is a store such as yours. When my daughter was little a group of us mothers would send hand me downs nack and forth, none of us had much money and times were tough but it gave us the opportunity to help each other out. That is what your store reminds me of and now that I have a grandaughter it is a great way to help my daughter and son in law clothe her and give her some toys to play with. Times are very tough for families right now. I really feel for those with children. Keep up the good work and thank you for making it possible for familes to survive. It has been nice to take my grandaughter in there and see her face all smiles when she sees the toys and how happy she is when I take her for a walk in the carriage that I purchased from you. Hi There….. I just wanted to tell the owners about how wonderful all of your staff > are!! I have a 5 month old baby and have been shopping at the Ajax OUAC since I was 4 months pregnant. In the past year I have been to all of the popular and name brand children’s stores…but none of them compare to yours! Besides the wonderful selection and deals….I LOVE all of your staff. They shared in the excitement of my pregnancy, could not wait to find out what we had…offer me invaluable advice and tips…and have helped me with a number of problems. Most recently, I had an issue with a Graco car seat and stroller I bought at your store. Leanne was so kind and helped me exchange the car seat…and then offered to help me install new wheels on my graco stroller! Never have I seen customer service at this level! Every time I am in the store (which is very often)…I feel so comfortable to ask questions and look for advice…and that is because ALL of your staff are so genuine and friendly! Recently they let me know that the pattern I am collecting and have bought from your store is being discontinued by Graco. You have one double stroller left….and even though I only have one baby I am going to buy that stroller! I want more babies and know this stroller will come in handy. I am so glad your staff tipped me off! You have a life long dedicated shopper in me and I am always raving about how awesome your store and staff are to all my mommy friends!  I send everyone your way!
